Blogmas day 30: To All A Good Night!

I regret to inform you that tonight will be my last night of blogmas as tomorrow evening is New Years Eve and Eddie and I will be out and about town! Today was another relaxing and semi-productive day. We woke up and had our eggs and bacon for breakfast and then did our walk. On our walk today we had a big discussion about our new years plans and all of our financial goals. These kinds of talks can be uncomfortable but they are so important to have! After our walk, our builder Justin came to put the finishing touches on our chicken coop. Our chickens now have a new heated home! Now, if we could just get them to sleep in it! They can be stubborn buggers.

After spending an hour or two outside with our girls, I spent some time cleaning out my closet and second bedroom. I have MUCH purging to do this next week before my break from school is over. I already took 2 bags full of stuff to goodwill today. After goodwill we made a bunch of leftovers for dinner and watched Harry Potter. Every year around this time we have a Harry Potter marathon. It gives us something to look forward to in the winter months.

Tomorrow night, I'm wearing my new pink dress (it's sparkly and gives me Glinda vibes) and my new sparkly shoes with bows to dinner at Slate, downtown Traverse City. Next we have reserved a room at the Park Place Hotel where we'll have front row seat views of the Cherry Drop for midnight!

Don't worry, I still have many blog plans for the new year. I want to let you know it's been a privilege and an honor to write to you everyday this month. I know this blogmas has been more like a daily account of what I've done and less of writing about other topics I'm normally very passionate about but this has been a really good way to get reacclimated with you. I can't wait to see you back here in 2024.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, and to all a good night!
