We
look forward to celebrating our marriage with you in Virginia City, beginning
on Friday, August 28—just 17 days from now!
You can help enhance your adventure and the experience for the bride and
groom and your fellow guests, by attending to the 3 topics below as soon as
feasible. Thanks in advance for your
attention. We look forward to hearing
from you soon!
1. Are
you participating? Thanks to everyone who mailed their RSVP cards, which were due Monday,
8/10. This information is crucial to
planning our important event. If you
have not yet provided your reply, please do so ASAP so we can provide accurate
head counts to our vendors.
2.
Please join us for dinner on
Friday! As mentioned in past blogs and
emails, we would very much appreciate everyone to joining us for a fun Meet, Greet, and Eat dinner at the Mustang
Ranch Steakhouse on
Friday evening. In order for our large
group to be accommodated, we need to have a count of attendees and meal
selections ASAP. The cost is only $40
for a great meal with salad, entrée, beverage, and dessert! Plus, it’s a fun location and a great time
for you to meet and reunite with our family and friends. If you have not yet reserved your spot for
the dinner, please place your order ASAP so Mustang Ranch orders the appropriate
amount of food. You can select one
of Chef Tony Calzaretta’s specialties:
·
Lemon
pepper chicken with seasonal vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes
·
Prime
rib with seasonal vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes
·
Pasta
Fresca tossed in a garlic basil olive oil, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives,
and artichoke hearts
3.
When will we see you?
In order to have the maximum amount of quality time with you and other
guests, please share when you plan to arrive in Virginia City. This will help with the planning of special
activities like the scavenger hunt being coordinated by Eddie’s sister,
Bridget! In addition, this information,
along with your departure time, can help coordinate ridesharing. Please be sure to note this information on
the message board at http://www.eddieandlindsay.com/message-board.html.
There will be plenty of vehicles available among guests, so not everyone
who’s flying in needs to rent a vehicle.
Plus, some parking situations are limited and everything in Virginia
City is within walking distance. Just
remember to pick up any supplies before you drive up the mountain!
