my haunted (doll)house

Seriously, spooky.

Welcome to my creative blog-

(as opposed to my “personal blog” which is about all things family and home life. It's the one I started during our wedding planning process). Anyway, I don’t want these entries to ever be about perfection, so without further ado, here is a brief and silly synopsis about one of my latest creative/craft/project/adventures.

I had fun setting up the serial killer/horror movie action figures in my old Victorian dollhouse, as I do every year.  As you can imagine my excitement the first Halloween Eddie and lived together, upon discovering his action figures (which, btw are NOT toys lol) and how they fit perfectly into my 1:12 scale Victorian mansion (which coincidentally also, is NOT, a toy).
And that, my friend, is how 2 creative genius’ and Halloween fanatics become a match made in miniature heaven.  Jason, Michael Meyers, and the rest of the posse enjoy visiting my Greenleaf Pierce house every October since 2009.

check out these super short, and bizarre, video clips I captured of scenes from my annual haunted dollhouse display  seriously, youtube has some funky editing options these days. actually all i did was add the "stabilization" and some color corrector, and next thing I knew it made the walls of the house look like a living and breathing acid trip.

and this one... can you spot the serial killers? do you know them by name? we're hard core fans over here

here's another one, if you can handle it haha

Here are some pics i snapped of just a few of the scenes I set up this year.  Perhaps I'll go back in and add pictures/videos of my haunted halloween dollhouse through out the years.
