Happy snowy November holidays my peeps! How is everyone?! I'm.......well...as usual I have a lot going on inside my head but not a whole lot happening outside of my head. If that makes any sense? I have secrets. Things I can't talk about yet and that just kills me when I can't discuss things on my blog because I tell you guys ev. er. y. thing. EVERYTHING! Today I am not at work. I had a super secret task today and that's done and I am just being super lazy for a very good reason.
Over the weekend Eddie and I binged watched The Crown. Normally it's super hard to get me to sit down and pay attention to anything that is on tv or otherwise because I am super ADHD but this show is good. I am obsessed with all things French royalty, especially from the Marie Antoinette era and I know this show is English not French but everything about the royal way of life is so interesting to me. It's been nice to finally get out of my own head and get off of my phone and tune into an interesting tv show. It's also helped me stave off my blogging habit but obviously that didn't last too long because here I am typing away to you guys again!
I mailed out my Christmas cards today! Nice and early this year! I remember always trying to get my cards out during the first week of December but since it's 2020 let's do it earlier! Speaking of cards: I posted this on social media but didn't make an official announcement and I probably should but in celebration of black Friday/small business Saturday/cyber Monday- I am giving away 1 free pin-up girl holiday card with every purchase from my etsy store! and just to make the deal even sweeter, I am going to give this deal to my amazing blog readers (that's you!) all season long! Until December 25th! All you have to do is type in a "note to seller" on the etsy check out system that you are a blog reader and I will slip a freebie card in just for you! I love how supportive you guys are and this is just the least I can do! Thank you so much for shopping small and buying from my store. It means the world to me! I'm getting closer to my goals and dreams everyday because of you guys! Also, a reminder that as a blog reader you can use code THANKYOU10 for 10% off of any purchase from my shop as well. If you are lucky enough to be on my personal Christmas card list, be very excited as your card is in the mail and as always there is a special surprise in each one. If you know, you know. I'm still finishing up some final touches on some putz houses that will be going into my shop in time for Christmas as well. Stay tuned!
I'm trying to stay light and fluffy topic wise on this blog as there are things I am trying to avoid talking about....so let's talk about shopping. Did you do any Black Friday online or in person shopping? Wanna know what I would get if I could go shopping? I'll tell you all about it!
- Sephora: Who doesn't love a good Sephora haul? I recently got The Cinnimon Bear set from Too Faced (see the look here) and I love it. I also want to share my favorite perfume as of lately (this was my go-to scent since my wedding in 2015 but I am now retiring it from daily wear. Do you retire your daily perfume scents every so often?) EDP Cheirosa ’62 Holiday by Sol de Janeiro is my new go-to scent for daily wear and I am obsessed. It smells like amazing sugary warm dreams. The highlights are of Salted Caramel, Pistachio and Vanilla. Whenever Sephora has a sale, I always stock up on my favorite conditioning hair mask by Amika and my all time favorite lash serum that finally got me off of my false lashes addiction. This stuff really works people.
- Shein: Sometimes a curvy gal has gotta get her cheap lingerie on- you know what I'm sayin? I have this thing for Santa themed items and these types of sets just fit that aesthetic.
- Ban.do has been a favorite shop of mine for years now and I look forward to getting a new planner and they also sell my favorite re-fillable cups for drinking water while on the go.
- Packed Party tumbler this is too cute. I've seriously never been more tempted to spend my money.
- modcloth has my favorite clothes of all time and this sweater just speaks to me.
- My Secret Stash I'm not gonna tell ya'll to shop small and then not give you more ways to shop small than just a link to my own store! This is my favorite gift shop in our town and they have the best stuff! (also see my face mask blog post) I recently bought this nail polish made by a local Mom here in Traverse City. So cute! Also how cute are these napkins?!
- CraftStore Cowgirl: This is the perfect set of cards! One for each of your closest friends and maybe keep one for yourself! Absolutely frame-able! ;) ;)
