Blogmas day 6: Statistics, panic attack podcasts and more holiday movie fun!

Whew! What a whirl wind of a week I'm having! Family events, getting ready for finals next week! I had my last day of regular instruction for stats last night! (Get ready with me for class here) I drove down, even after having a panicky morning and sat through 3 hours of extremely fast paced instruction. I guess our class was running a little behind, according to prof, so our last 3 week of instruction have been an absolute blur. I found a tutor through school who is willing to see me off hours and privately (I offered her $65/hour, which is what my last non-school issued tutor got and her eyes lit up) so I'm glad to have her help over the weekend to review for my final exam. This school year is all about science for me. Next semester I'm taking stats and research methods, along with neuroscience. Then I have advanced research methods and my senior capstone! Then fin!

Also, this week's podcast is out today! (subscribe and rate on spotify here! ) This week's podcast is all about panic attacks. Panic attacks are sudden episodes of intense fear or discomfort that can affect individuals with or without a diagnosed anxiety disorder. They often escalate quickly, leaving individuals feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope with the situation. Navigating panic attacks can be a challenging experience, but there is hope. By understanding panic attacks, recognizing the development of phobias, and avoiding unhelpful behaviors, individuals can better manage their anxiety and improve their overall quality of life during the holiday season. Remember, you are not alone, and there is support available to help you through this difficult time.

I think I found a really calming and loving way to talk about something something so stressful. Plus, I give you all the juicy details from what I've written in the past about my experiences with panic disorder.

Since everyone really loves the holiday movie lists, I've got more for you to watch! Hooray! Now, where did we leave off? Ah yes..

The Family Man this one is an absolute must every single year for Eddie and I. It's not Christmas without it.

A Castle for Christmas this was a cheesy hallmark-esque blur to me lol

The Noel Diary  A steamy romance involving a famous novel writer and a woman trying to find her birth mother!

Best. Christmas. Ever! A new movie from 2023 with Heather Graham, Brandy, and Jason Biggs!

A Christmas Frequency a cheesy movie about a radio station and staring Denise Richards. Another one from this year!

and last but not least, another 2023 contestant,

The Family Switch it's like freak Friday but holiday style! Such a fun movie!

That's all for now! I'll see you here tomorrow for blogmas day 7!
